Obituary for
Terry James Nittka
Terry James Nittka, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on October 5, 2015. Terry was born November 24, 1945 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his parents June Ragar Nittka and James Nittka. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan Victor Nittka, Terry’s daughters Wendy and Heidi, his sister Suzanne Nuttall and husband Woody Nuttall and family. Terry was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He retired from LyondellBasell in 2010 and has been a volunteer at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital since his retirement. He served as Committee Chair for the Student Volunteers and Medical Bridges Programs. He had a love for sailing and the sea, and enjoyed traveling. Terry and Susan had recently returned from their “dream” vacation, an Alaskan Cruise. A celebration of Terry's life followed by a short reception is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 14303 West Lake Houston Parkway, Houston, TX 77044 at the Broncroft Court intersection in Summerwood - two miles north of the Sam Houston Tollway.
