Annie Louise Vachule (Speegle)
Annie Louise Vachule, 92, born February 8, 1923, in Hartselle, AL passed away January 16, 2016, in Kemah, TX.
She is survived by her children, Carol Guillot and husband David, Linda Willard and husband David, Nancy Vachule and husband Glen Gordy, Joe Vachule and wife Cathy; by her sister, Martha Ann Couey; by her grandchildren, Kelly Grant, Robert Kelly, Hannah Vachule, Liesa Gray, Tracy Greer, April Supak, also by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Vachule; by her mother and father, Charly and Cary Mae Speegle; by her sister, Nellie Smith; by her brothers, Ralph Speegle and Erskin Speegle.
Annie Louise loved fishing, soap operas, quilting, crocheting, sports, and her many beloved pets.
She worked for Northrup Grumman on components for the NASA Space Program, and on the First Lunar Landing in 1969 which gave her a great sense of pride.
Her life was her own invention. We will miss her dearly and think of her often with love and fond memories (and a few giggles).
Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, TX 77503.
A private family graveside service will be held.
