Alfredo B.  Zapata


Alfredo B. Zapata, born on March 7, 1933 in Robstown, Tx, passed away on March 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Zapata, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Agapito Zapata, sisters Maria, Minerva, Teresa and brothers Agapito Jr., Daniel and Eliseo. Alfredo is survived by daughters Sylvia Lopez and Lily Campos, son in law Enrique Campos and grandsons, Adrian and Nic. Brothers and sisters Ofelia, Ramiro, Raul, Rene, Sister Delia, Gilbert, Amador and Jovita.

Alfredo served the US Army ten years, worked as a butcher and then worked as a truck driver (18 wheelers). He retired from the US Post Office in 1998. He and his wife enjoyed traveling; road trips, cruises and plane rides, they visited most of the United States and Mexico.

He had a witty sense of humor, was always ready to lend a helping hand and a true gentleman. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
