Ignacia G. Andrade, 80, born July 31, 1936 in Pasadena, Texas went to her Heavenly Home on October 25, 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gustavo A. Andrade; by her children, Mary A. Pena, Rosalinda Hernandez and husband Jesse, Rosalva Hernandez, Rosaura Robles and husband Brien, Rafael Andrade, Lidia Cleveland and husband Jerry, Hellen Torres and husband Raul, Tina Lopez, Joe Lopez, Becky Perez; by her brother, Silvestre Garcia and wife Maria; sisters, Avelina Munoz, Rita Blasini and husband John; by 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Ignacia was preceded in death by her father, Cecilio Garcia; by her mother, Socorro de Anda; by her sister, Francisca Garcia; by her brother, Aurelio Garcia; by her sons-in-law, Daniel R. Peňa and Ruben Hernandez; by her granddaughter, Jennifer M. Andrade.
She loved and enjoyed gardening, music, traveling, and cooking for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She always welcomed everyone into her home, made sure they were fed, and made them feel at home.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503.
