Rose Marie Harp-Thomason, 81, born December 2, 1934 in Augsburg, Germany died on November 26, 2016, in Pasadena, Texas.
Rose was preceded in death by her loving parents, Theodor and Rosa Marie Eigen, and by her son Theo “Teddy” Harp.
She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Harp and wife Shari; daughter, Karen Harp Moreland; daughter-in-law, Rose Mary Harp; step-daughters, Wendy and husband Roger and Viveanne and husband James; by her long time loving cat Kameer, by her grandchildren, Nicholas, Trina, Virginia, Kristen, Timothy, Johna, Brad, Pennie, Jonathan, Jarrod, Hayden, Storie, and Caleb; and by her great-grandchildren, Chloe, Gentry, Boston, Madison, Everleigh, Bradford, Diego, Cade and Claire.
Rose retired after more than 30 years from Big Tex Air Conditioning. She loved her family and held them close in her heart at all times. She guided them through all situations with a firm hand and a loving heart. She gained her strength from her early years during WWII in Germany and became a US Citizen and her love of this country never waned.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503.
