Essie Corean Yates, 95, born September 3, 1921 in Plum Grove, Texas went to be with the Lord December 25, 2016.
She is survived by her children, James Harvey Mullican and wife Mary, Brenda Brown and husband Russell, and Linda Brown and husband David; by her grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Mullican, Kerry Goolsby, Pat Mullican, Latisha Brown, Kathy Orum, Amanda Robinson and husband Kenny, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Bettie Lefevre; by her sister, Estelle Dreyer; by her brothers, Ira Paul Lefevre, and James Joel Lefevre; by her grandson, Timothy Bryan Mullican, and by great-grandson, Justin Lee Blaine.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77396. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Rosewood Humble Chapel and interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas.
