Earl Burton Linam
Earl Burton Linam attended Albion College in Michigan and studied to be a lawyer. He found it was not for him and enlisted in the army. He was honorably discharged toward the end of World War II. He excelled in marksmanship and attended the potential leadership school.
Earl and Trudy were married for 53 years and both were devout bridge players. He volunteered at Humble Police Dept., Memorial Herman Hospital in Humble and Harris County Senior Adult Program.
He was a born salesman and loved his two jobs working for a hardware supplier and chemical company until his retirement in 1996.
He loved to travel and together they saw many sites.
He attended the Methodist church all his life and taught Sunday school for a time. His love of Christ was always a part of his life. They have been very active members of FUMC-Humble since October, 2002. He was blessed with many friends throughout his life up to present.
Earl has 4 children: Robert, Rusty, Pam and Craige; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. This was his greatest joy and contentment.
