Chester Myrel Carr (Caswell)
Chester Myrel Carr went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Pasadena, TX at the age of 90.

Chester was born on June 9, 1926 in Norton, Texas. In 1934 the family moved to Houston where she attended Kashmere Gardens Elementary, Marshall Junior High and graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1943.
It was while living in Houston that she met and married Thomas I. Carr, Jr., a union lasting 21 years.
In 1966 Chester began her career at Houston Light and Power and retired after 25 years of service.

Chester built her life around friends, community, and her son Greg. She served her community as President of Texas Municipal Police Officers Wives Association, President-Houston Police Officers Wives Association, President-Fonville Junior High PTA, President-Houston Lighting & Power Retirees Club, President-Doctor’s Hospital Golden Years and was a Life member of Texas Parent Teacher Association.
