Obituary for Charles Robert Wright

Charles "Charlie" Robert Wright, 76, of Crosby, was born April 24, 1940 to Erman and Margaret Wright. He lost his courageous battle February 5, 2017. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Norma "Mandy" Wright of Crosby, TX; daughter, Aliecia Pruitt and husband, Mike of Crosby, TX; son, Roger Walden of Key West, FL; grandchildren/children, Chris Walden and wife Vicky of Atascocita, TX, Stephani Weekly and husband Kelly of Atascocita, TX, Jessica Crew and husband Tommy of Huffman, TX; grandsons, Austin Michalak and Corey Pruitt, of Huffman, TX and Jeff Wright of Fayette, Alabama ; sister, Jane Janet Gant of Mussel Shoals, AL; brother-in-law William "Bill" Sadler of Crosby, TX; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Erman "Mutt" and Margaret Kemp Wright; son, Phillip "Flip" Wright; daughters, Tammy Wright and Valerie "Tinka" Edmonds; grandchildren, Jennifer McKinley, Dustin West and Scott Michalak; brother-in-law, Red Gant. Charlie moved from Alabama in the 1960's and made Texas his home. He touched everyone that was blessed to meet him or have him in their life. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Little Country Church-Crosby. Interment will follow at Huffman Cemetery, in Huffman, TX.
