Cathy Kamas , 81, was born in Gillham, Arkansas on February 24, 1935 and entered into rest on February 17, 2017.
She is survived by her children, Jaleen St. John, James St. John, Billy St. John and wife Wenhui, David St. John, Terri McRae and husband Robert; by her grandchildren, Wendy Nava and husband Chris, Ronni McDougal and husband Randy, Sherry Cobb, Donald Cobb, Stacy St. John, Stephanie Franzoy and husband Travis, Samantha Hecker and husband Jason, Timmy St. John, Larry Gatton, II and wife Heidi; great-grandchildren, Salem, Christopher, Nathan, Ryan, Seth, Nathan, Jaxon, Hayden, Levi, Ava, Aubrey, Demetrius, Felix, Myranda, and Alex.
Cathy married the love of her life Paul Kamas in August of 1987, who preceded her in death on September 8th, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, David Wayne St. John, II.
Cathy was a very loving, loyal, devoted, and supportive mother of five, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of fifteen. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and one of her favorite things to do was to make quilts for them. She also enjoyed shopping and loved the color purple. Cathy was a very regal, feisty, determined, graceful, and giving person.
She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
