Barney Eugene Walsh
Barney Eugene Walsh, 55, passed away at home with his sister April 25, 2017 in Austin, Texas. He was born Thursday, July 20, 1961 in Houston, Texas. He was a graduate of MacArthur High School (1980) and he worked as a Security Supervisor for Dell Computers. He was honorably discharged from the US Army.
Barney is survived by his Mother, Patsy Ruth Walsh Finkelstein; Sister, Janice Lynn Walsh; Uncle, William Bruce Pelton; Aunt, Cynthia Sue Pelton; Cousins, Bruce Bryan Pelton, Tammy Lynn Pelton, Sherman Lyle Pelton, Reva Rene’ Pelton, Billy Jack Pelton; Adopted Son, Trevor Walsh; Half Brother, John Knight.
Barney was preceded in death by his Grandfather, “Papa” William Bruce Pelton; Grandmother, “GiGi” Daisy Juanita Pelton and a Sister, Bettena Robin Walsh.
Barney loved Godzilla, SciFi, Hammer and Universal Horror Films and Star Trek.
Barney was so brave in the end. He fought the good fight. I saw the strength of my brother as I had never before. My brother was always kind and gentle with a heart of love and compassion.
