Obituary for Vanessa Esparza

Vanessa Esparza, 15, was born October 23, 2001 and deceased on July 21, 2017.
She is survived by her father, Eduardo Esparza; by her mother, Maria Cruz; by her brother, Eric Esparza; by her grandparents, Maria Esparza, Delia Magana, and Candido Cruz; by her godmother, Delia Martinez; by her godfather, Ramon Esparza Jr., all surviving family members are from Houston. She's also survived by an extended family and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ramon Esparza.
Vanessa attended Dr. Shirley J. Williamson Elementary, Cobb Middle School, and YES Prep High School most recently, all schools are in Houston, TX. Vanessa would have been a sophomore in HS this coming school year.
Vanessa was a sweet, loving girl who loved her family and her close friends. Vanessa loved animals, dogs & cats specifically and aspired to be a veterinarian. As a future veterinarian, Vanessa aspired to rescue stray dogs, heal them, and find them loving homes. Vanessa was a great swimmer and loved going to the beach. She also enjoyed fishing & hunting with her father.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m., with a memorial service to begin at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Rosewood Atascocita Chapel, 17404 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Humble, Texas 77346. A memorial mass service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 527 S. Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77338.
In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy a memorial donation may be made in Vanessa’s name to the Houston SPCA at www.houstonspca.org, phone # 713-869-SPCA.
