Obituary for Blanche Elizabeth Dobbins (Christianson)

Blanche “Chris” Elizabeth Dobbins, 62, passed away August 13, 2017. She was born January 15,1955 in Houston, TX.
Blanche is survived by her sister, Sherry and husband, Duane Hundl; one Niece, Kimberly Fillion and husband, Ken; three Nephews, Duane Hundl Jr. and wife, Danielle, Brian Hundl and Fiance’ Anselma Juarez, Michael Hundl; Great Niece and Nephew, Summer and Duane Hundl, III; Brother-in-Law, Larkin Etheridge. She is also survived by her step family, Gary and Karen Berryman, Greg and Denise Berryman, Michael Berryman; Nephews, Brandon Berryman and wife Catherine, Christopher Berryman and wife, Melody, Brett Boettcher and wife, Patricia; Niece, Lindsey O’Conor and husband, Darren; many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Blanche was preceded in death by her Mother, Blanche Laverne Christianson; Father, E.J. Christianson, Jr; Step Mother, Mary Frances Christianson; Sister, Dolores Etheridge; Step Sister, Judy Boettcher and husband, Craig and good friend, Liz Cook.
Blanche loved gardening, arts and crafts and spending holidays with family. She was very sentimental and loved creating gifts for family and friends. She attended Milby High School in Houston, TX. She retired from Federal Express Corporation in Houston and previously was an office supervisor for Highland Appliance in Dallas, TX.
Blanche was very loved by all of her family, neighbors and friends. Everyone who knew her cherished her friendship, loyalty, laughter, personality and her willingness to help. She cared for and loved many adopted pets over the years. Blanche’s love and friendship was authentic and everyone who knew her was blessed to call her friend. Above all, Blanche was a spiritual soul and loved God.
“Eternal rest grant unto Blanche, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
