Obituary for Joshua Harrison Elliot

Joshua Harrison Elliot
Joshua Harrison Elliot went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Humble Texas. Joshua was born in Houston, Texas to Guy and Cindy Elliot on July 19, 1990. Josh grew up in the Humble area, attending Oak Forest Elementary School, Timberwood Middle School and Atascocita High School. He worked for several years as a quality control inspector for Faith Manufacturing, a part of The Faith Family.

Josh is survived by his parents, Guy Wesley Elliot and Cindy Sue Elliot; his brothers, Patrick Wesley Elliot and Owen Marshall Elliot; his children, Aubrey Elizabeth Elliot and Wyatt Harrison Elliot; his significant other and mother of his children, Lisa Schroeder; nephew, Parker Guy Elliot; his grandmother, Doris Ruth Elliot; his aunts, Stephanie Ray Scott, Sandy Lynn Gadman, Michelle Sparks, Patricia Ann Peek, Patricia Ruth Singleton and Tammie Gay Turpin; his uncles, Patrick Ray Scott, Mike Ray Scott, Mitchell Ray Scott and Booby Jack Covey; and 32 cousins; and numerous other family and friends.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Patrick Newton Elliot, Sam Covey, Jr and step grandfather, Monty Ray Scott; his grandmother, Patsy Nell Scott; his uncles, Richard Newton Elliot and Terry Lee Covey; and his aunt, Susan Elaine Ray.

Josh loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children, Aubrey and Wyatt. He liked to take them to the park, painting with them, rock collecting for them, just hanging out with them. He also had interests in coin collecting, digging for treasures at the beach, online shopping and casinos. Joshua was enjoying his life. He was close to his family, friends and acquaintances. He became a father to a beautiful little girl that he adores and a precious little boy. He strived to provide for them with all his heart. He respected his mentors, employers and family. Joshua realized that life was a lot of work and he enjoyed the challenge. He was loved by all and will be forever missed by those who knew him.

We love you Josh!

“He is singing and playing in Heaven, with his family and friends that have gone before. Most of all he is with our Lord and Savior, waiting for us to join him in a far happier place.”

There will be a funeral service on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel in Humble, Texas with graveside service to follow.
