Chromalloy/Delta Mud

I'm very sad to hear of Paul's passing. I worked with him many years ago, after dropping out of college (1979-1981). Paul was one of my supervisors/dispatchers at Delta Mud in Kingsville. Another manager (Harold Meyer) hired me and put me under Paul's wing to learn the ropes. Harold accepted a transfer/promotion with the company to the Houston area and Paul followed as best I remembered. Both had offered me a position in a new warehouse they were to manage, but I joined the Navy instead. Although we had never had kept up with each other - Paul was such an important mentor to me. Although around the same age (I'm actually a couple of years older!), Paul never put on airs and sincerely cared. Looking back now, it's hard to believe it has been so long ago. He was a great friend, an awesome young man, and reading others' testimonies, led an amazing life. Wishing his family and friends my condolences and warmest wishes. Dave Hodge
