Obituary for Annette John

Annette  John
Annette John, 67, passed away January 7, 2017. She was born at Corpus Christi, Texas on October 3, 1949. Annette was a graduate of W B Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX and immediately went to work for the HEB Grocery Company. At HEB she started in the bakery and worked her way into the Accounting department. She spent the remainder of her career in Accounting and worked for Toro Petroleum, Union Texas Petroleum and Transworld Oil.
Annette enjoyed spending time with her friends & family, playing with her grandkids, crafts, baking and making blankets. Annette will be best known for her sacrifices for her family, friends, children and grandchildren. She loved having the entire family together to celebrate holidays. Annette was deeply loved by everyone who knew her and her compassion knew no boundaries.
Annette is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas John; a son, Eric John; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer John; grandsons, Wyatt and Dixon John; a daughter, Cory John; a sister, Wanda McKinney; a nephew, Trey McKinney; a niece, Michelle McWhorter, and two brothers, Orville Philips and Marvin Philips.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents Marvin Philips and Corrine Hanson Philips.
Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Institute in the name of Annette John.
