Bobby Glinn Rash Sr.
Bobby Glinn Rash Sr. was born on February 8th, 1949 in Houston, TX and passed away in Humble, TX on March 8th, 2017.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rash; Children Bobby Rash Jr. and wife Pam, Dominique Vandiver and husband Chad, and Paul Rash. Grandsons - Bobby Rash III, Nicholas Vandiver, and Calvin (C.J.) Rash. Granddaughters- Makenzie Vandiver, Shayna Wade, and Kaylin Wade. Great grandchildren- Paislie Allen Rash, Brayden Marshall, and Andrew Mitchel Vandiver. Sisters- Patsy Walker and Nancy Nichter.
Preceded in death by his parents- Hamp and Myrtle Rash, Brothers- Fermon, Dean, and Charles Rash, and sister- Mattie Tendol.
He is survived by many, many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was raised in the Northside of Houston, where he met and married the love of his life, Elizabeth, on September 14th, 1968. He spent his entire life loving her, proudly celebrating 48 years of marriage this past September. Throughout his life he worked in the towing industry, beginning in his early teens. He held an amazing talent in building cars and racing cars was his passion. He was always "at home" at the race track.
He gave his life to The Lord many years ago and has always professed his readiness to meet him. He was a kind and true friend to so many and a blessing to all that knew him. His never-failing strength and courage will forever be honored. He exemplified unconditional love every day of his life.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
