Betty Ruth Pecorino (Ellis)
Betty went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Palm Sunday, April 9, 2017 peacefully surrounded by her family in Huffman, Texas. Betty was born on February 13, 1938 to Ree and Jannie Ellis in Frankston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her son John Michael Pecorino, her Mother and Father, her sister Molly Wilson, and her brother Leroy Ellis. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Victor Pecorino, her daughters Annette Fojtic, Lisa Ogle and her husband Michael, and Vickie McNamee and her husband Warren, eight grandchildren and one great grand child. Betty was a talented artist and had shown her work in many art shows, she also was one of the top real estate brokers in the Kingwood area working for Re max Northeast/Kingwood for many years. She was a wonderful wife to Victor and mother to her daughters, and grandchildren and she will be sorely missed by all. Betty and Victor traveled all over the west and Florida in their motor home, often having the Harley with them and rode thousands of miles in the mountains of the western states, plus attending the Sturgis Bike Rally for nineteen years. She does leave behind many friends as well as all her brothers and sisters in the Los Carnales motorcycle club. We wish to thank her caretaker Carmen Rockenstein, the caregivers from the Rose of Texas hospice and also to our minister Larry Vance who was with Betty and the family during her final days.
