Ronnie was something else .. something special, charming, entertaining - and something real.   As a business associate, I'm been in Purchasing, buying lumber from this interesting fellow for all of this century.   

As a personal vow to myself, I wasn't going to 'follow' a salesman if they changed companies.  Just wasn't gonna go there - and very rarely did - unless they had unusual knowledge and expertise of some technical ilk.    Ronnie did move around in the early 2000's.   From Lincoln - to Alpine - to Universal - then back to Lincoln (did I miss anyone?)     Wasn't going follow anyone,right? 

But Ronnie was so down-to-earth, with a good ole boy demeanor, and a load of cheer and laughter in every conversation - I just couldn't resist.   No uppity attitude, no pretensions, no bluster or self-importance.   Just pure Ronnie.    Someone you just couldn't resist - and certainly never forget.
