Obituary for Juanita Ellen McCauley

Juanita Ellen McCauley
Juanita Ellen McCauley, born on November 30, 1931, in Nederland Texas, passed away peacefully at the Houston Hospice facility on August 21, 2017. Juanita spent 86 years on this earth making her legacy known to all she touched. A legacy based on the Christian virtues of Faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, an undying Hope founded in His Word and in His Promises, and in her unconditional Love for the well-being of others first.

Juanita’s Christian life-song virtues were clearly heard by all those who encountered her and the melodies were felt close to the heart by her family and friends. Juanita’s fortitude and perseverance in His plan helped her live through the loss of her husband of over 65 years T.J. McCauley (84) on January 28, 2015, as well as the loss of two of her sons, Dwayne (52) and Mac (57), respectively on January 12, 2014 and on January 10, 2017. Although Juanita had to deal with the heartbreaking loss of burying two of her children, the loss of her life-long companion and husband, along with numerous other family members and friends along the way, her Faith, Hope and Love of others were the continual hallmark of her life.

Juanita now leaves behind for a season her son James McCauley and wife Margaret McCauley, her grandchildren Amiee McCauley, Christopher McCauley, Lauren McCauley, Brandy Loosemore, Brent Smith and her great grandchildren Cody, Chase, and McKenzie.

As Juanita’s work here is finished in this lifetime and she has now been called home; one of the many bible verses that Mrs. McCauley would often recite and would likely wish to leave you with would be Deuteronomy 31:8: “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Comforting words and a reassuring promise by our Heavenly Father!
