Rebecca Edwards was born on March 25, 1941 in Houston, Texas. She was a daughter of Howard and Christene Fenn, and she lived her whole life in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Milby High School in 1959, and worked for a Customs Broker at the “big” airport in Houston, TX.
Rebecca passed away on September 6, 2020 at her home in Houston. She was 79 years, 5 months, and 12 days old at the time of her death. She was a member of Advent Presbyterian Church in Spring, Texas.
Becky taught her children to love and to respect each other and to her grandson Blake what true and faithful love really is. Do not let people judge you and in her words, take care of you and yours, and the world will take care of itself.
Rebecca is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert (Buddy) Edwards, and her daughter, Lisa Ann Borreson and husband Larry. Her son, Stephen Lee Edwards and his son, Blake Ryan Edwards. She also leaves a brother, Sammy Fenn and his wife Neecie and their family in Waco, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Christene Fenn, and two sisters, Peggy Fenimore and Irona Bennett.
Rebecca’s funeral will be at the Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, Texas on Friday, September 11, 2020. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM and the service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will also be at Rosewood. Everyone needs to wear a mask.
