Barbara Jenean Sowell passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. She is survived by her children: Timothy James Sowell of Crystal Beach TX, Teresa Ann Bailey, and husband Jeffrey Charles Bailey of Double Oak TX. 4 grandchildren: Timothy James Sowell Jr, wife Melissa Stoner Sowell of Hagerstown MD, Ian Bryce Sowell, wife Lindsay Sowell of Hagerstown MD, Taylor Cee Bailey of The Colony TX, Jackson Kelly Bailey of Denton TX. 3 great granddaughters: Poe Winter Sowell, Brodie Alice Sowell, and Betty Sue Sowell of Hagerstown MD.

Barbara is 1 of 12 children born to Cecil and Gladys Knight in Redland TX. She is survived by brother: Jerry Wayne Knight. Sisters: Betty Sue Cherry, Nila Faye Morgan, Margaret Louise Knight Bouman, Marla Charlene Manken, and Maggie Dell Muse, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Charles Bailey, Jackson Kelly Bailey, Timothy James Sowell Jr, James Keen, Darrin Wayne Knight, and Russ Vulpitta.

Services will be held in the chapel at Rosewood Funeral home on Friday November 13th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas.
