Obituary for
Todd Anthony Younts
Todd Anthony Younts, of Humble, Texas was born on November 11, 1960 and died on January 5, 2022. He was 61 years old and died peacefully in the hospital with family by his side. His big, loving heart will finally be completely healed. He was born to Charles (C.A.) and Fayola Younts, in Houston, Texas.
He claimed Humble, Texas, as his place of residency his entire life, although he traveled and lived in many areas for work over the years. He most recently worked for Triad Construction. He is survived by his mother, Fayola; brother, Timothy Younts; sister, Tana Nelson, all, of Humble, Texas. Nieces- Amy Bookout and husband, Caulder of Allen, TX, Emily Payne and husband Brian of Nacogdoches, TX, Shelby Frederick and husband, Jon of Montgomery, Texas; Nephews- Charlie Younts and wife, Whitney of Nacogdoches, TX, Matthew Younts and wife, Sha of Kingwood, TX, Austin Nelson of Humble, TX; Grand nieces and nephews- Conner, Tanner and Tate Bookout, Bryce and Fallon Payne, Kensley and Kaylnn Younts, and Ethan Nelson. He was preceded in death by his father, C.A. Younts and infant sister, Theresa Younts.
He attended Humble High School and graduated in 1979 and was known to many as “Tiger”. He has maintained friendships with many of his childhood friends and has made many, many friends over the years. His favorite places, and where he met lifelong friends, were Bandera, Texas, specifically “Hunter’s Weekend Blood Mary Party” and Garner State Park. He might have loved his Dune Buggy more than any other treasure he ever owned. If there was a big event happening in Humble, Texas, Todd was there and working the crowd greeting everyone, meeting and introducing himself to anyone he didn’t already know.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12pm at Rosewood Funeral in Humble, TX, 2602 South Houston Ave. A memorial service will follow at 2pm, also at Rosewood. There will then be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 15th at 2pm at the Humble Civic Center (Ballroom 1), 8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, Texas 77338.
