Obituary for
Daniel Wayne Jackson
Daniel Wayne Jackson, 63, died September 21, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.
Daniel was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 6th, 1959, to the late Harvey Eugene and Wilma Gene (Luigi) Jackson. He was one of five children from this union that includes Cecil Jackson, Linda Odle, William “Billy” Jackson, and Sherrie Linder. After his parents’ divorce, Daniel’s father remarried to Patricia better known as Patsy and alongside her two children from a previous marriage James and Joe Burton this was the start of their blended family.
His passion for family continued as Daniel went on to marry Sandy Raines and had one daughter until their divorce, but they always remained committed co-parents. Daniel honored family and was genuinely involved in raising a second daughter born years after his divorce from Sandy until her death in 2008.
Daniel continued to work for many years as a painter which is where he met Patricia and her three young daughters and soon united their family. Daniel and Patricia would go on to have a son, and the love for family didn’t stop there. They would also adopt two young boys and a girl, making the tribe complete at nine.
Daniel is survived by his wife Patricia Jackson of 38 years, children Traceen Driskill and wife Kelly, Treasa Mitchell and husband Daniel, Amber Warren and husband James, Trisstin Helton and husband Charles, Chrystal Christian, Allison Jackson, Daniel Jackson Jr and wife Christina, Robert Christian Jr, William Christian III, and fiancé Rebecca. Sister-in-law’s Marge Klimkewicz and Ann Christian, Brother-in-law’s Robert, and Sigmond Christian.
Preceded in death by Father-in-law William Christian II, Mother-in-law Blanche Christian, and Brother-in-law Lanny Christian.
In his final act of kindness, he selflessly donated to Southwest Transplant Alliance with the hopes of helping others.
Daniel’s final family legacy extends to the joy of being survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
