Joseph W. Novosad Jr., died unexpectedly on Nov. 5, 2023 at his home in Porter, TX.

Jo-Jo was born on September 14, 1960 in Wharton, Texas to parents Joseph W. Novosad Sr. Bernice(Stavena) Novosad

Jo-Jo married the love of his life Deborah Harris in July of 1992. Though they had no children he helped raise nephews Ethan and Dusty whom they both loved very much. Jo-Jo worked for Smith/Schlumberger for over 20 years as a Machinist/Supervisor. He enjoyed watching and supporting the Astros and was a huge Texans fan. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends on more then just holidays. He was a truly loved husband, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all.

Jo-Jo leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years Deborah(Harris) Novosad and siblings - Denise Carmody-Dowden, Rebecca Ayres and husband Gregory Ayres Sr., Mark Novosad and wife Laura Novosad, Melissa Rogers and husband John Rogers, Kimberly Grasty and husband Stephen Grasty Jr. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

Joseph W. Novosad is proceeded in death by his father Joseph W. Novosad Sr and mother Bernice (Stavena)Novosad.

Services will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home in 22271 Hwy 59, Porter, TX 77365. Viewing to be Monday November 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday November 21 st and 12:00pm.
