Betty Jo Philips was born on July 30, 1925, she was adopted by her parents, John and Korah Belle Taylor, and grew up in Humble, TX. She attended Humble High School and met Clarence Philips, whom she married in 1942. Betty Jo is survived by her devoted daughter, Jo Elaine Philips, her two granddaughters, Katie Jo Davis and Jamie Waters, and her five precious great- grandchildren.

Her life was spent in the service of others, through her volunteer work, taking care of her household, or caring for loved ones in need. Betty Jo’s generosity and nurturing spirit brought warmth and comfort to those she cared for and she will be missed beyond measure.

Services for Betty Jo will be held on Wednesday, January 31st at Rosewood Funeral Home. The celebration of life will begin at 10:00 am followed by a short graveside ceremony at1:00pm.
