In Loving Memory of Richard Kenneth Hilliard

Richard Kenneth Hilliard, 74, of Humble, Texas passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024. “Rick,” as everyone called him, was born on August 10, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia to Kenneth L. Hilliard and Jane A. Clay.

Rick is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 46 years, Beverly “Darlene” Page Hilliard; sister-in-law Edith Flagg; niece Deborah Malone and husband Vic; nephews Mike Flagg and wife Jane, Robert Sitton and wife Jen, and David Sitton. Numerous great nieces and nephews as well as many great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Shirley Sitton Guthrie.

Although he did not have any children of his own, he loved his great nieces and nephews and was always up for “playing in the ditch” at Momasoa’s house.

Rick retired in 2016 after 34 years of service with Allied Aviation at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. He enjoyed the many road trips to Branson, Missouri with his beloved Darlene over the years. In his later years, Rick, who Darlene referred to as “her rock,” was by her side day and night. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, nieces, nephews and friends.
