With deep sympathy we thank his wife, Margie, for all that she has done for him these last few years in caring for him through sufferings. We look up, knowing that Dad is in a much better place where there are no more tears or pain and his brilliant mind is fully restored as he resides with new life in Heaven as God promises.
He was a stand out human being who lived his life with sincere and honorable honesty and integrity. He never drew attention to himself, never arrogant but quiet and humble. He was gentle and kind and a good listener. He found satisfaction in hard work, providing very well for all 5 of his children.
Ever respectful of others and full of class. He didn't demand much from others and possessed a rare ability to always immediately forgive others with unconditional love. Dad did not spend his life trying to please, gratify, or entertain himself but lived simply and found great joy in simple pleasures, especially the outdoors.
He had a beautiful mind with a sense of humor and an ability to enjoy life. Although he chose not to, he could impress with his knowledge of almost any topic whether it be some small battle of the Civil War, world politics, poetry, math, the Bible, literature, geography, natural gas refinery, food, deep sea diving, aeronautics, chemistry, foreign languages, architecture, etc...
You are forever in our hearts Dad. Memories of you are cherished. You were a class act from start to finish. I love you dearly my precious father. love, Christine
